Cool Like ChloéI think I've fallen in love. Well, not literally but I have found someone that i can classify as an "inspiration". In other words Selma Blair has totally caught my eye - in the fashion sense of course. I love her look and how she can rock a Marc Jacobs gingham print dress to five inch Balenciaga pumps. Here is my list of reason of why she stands out against our sea of Rachel Zoe clone (seriously Mischa, stop with the bib dresses!)
1. She's a CFDA/ Vogue dinner party regular. In other words she gets into the most exclusive fashion parties, whereas Paris Hilton is partying at your local night club.
2. She has the coolest friends! Case in point: she goes parties with Andre Leon Talley, rubs shoulders with Marc Jacobs and is on first name basis with Kristen , Ashley and Mischa.

4. Her style is amazing. I love how Blair manages to pull of a gingham Marc Jacobs dress without looking like a hillbilly. Her flexibility in style is also great. Not a lot of people pulled off those Balenciaga heels but Selma manages to rock them. And not fall flat on her face.
5. She's joined the ranks of Kate Moss, Keira Knightley and Amber Valleta by posing for Chanel ( in her case - eyewear). Do I need to convince you guys anymore?

chic....i have always found her to have a really well rounded sens of style...she can easily fit into any situation and look stylish...never tries to hard and always looks on point. it helps that shes absolutely gorgeous too!
Definitely chic. She seems so quirky and adorable and discreet at the same time. You didn't picture the balenciaga heels here , did you? The ones she's wearing with the super skinny pants are Marc Jacobs, I think.

I always thought of her as a bit of a plain jane, but I think shes proving everyone wrong recently, and I must admit, shes caught my eye too!
I wouldn't exactly class her as a fashion icon, but I definetly love some of her choices.

I like her style as well. Its really straight-forward but edgy, if that makes sense. Perhaps uncluttered? I really loved that all white outfit. I tried to get my mum to let me buy white pants to recreate it, but it didn't go so well. I'm also amazed at how well she changes her hair style.

she's so chic, i love her style and I think she's an amazing actress. apparently she went to rehab last year after her divorce for substance abuse, if it's true then thank god she did it quietly rather than making a big cafuffle about it. (what is with all these celebrities in rehab now? the whole point is that you're not supposed to make a big deal of it... tut tut)
